Alessandro Borini Lone
Agricultural Engineer
Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor's degree from the State University of Londrina (UEL - 2007), Master's degree in Agronomy, in the areas of Seed Technology and Fruit Culture (UEL - 2010), PhD in Agronomy in the area of Fruit Culture (UEL - 2013), Postgraduate -Junior PhD in Fruit Culture (UEL - 2013) and Graduation in Agronomy (UNIFIL - 2013). He was a professor at the Federal Institute of Southern Minas, Campus Inconfidentes between 2014 and 2015. He is currently a researcher at the Santa Catarina Agricultural Research and Rural Extension Company (Epagri), Itajaí Experimental Station (EEI).
Aldenício Paixão Lino
Agricultural Technician
He is an Agricultural Technician from the Escola Agrotécnica Federal Dom Avelar Brandão Vilela (1995). He has a degree in Administration from the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences of Petrolina (2007) and is studying Agronomy at Faculdade Anhanguera campus Juazeiro-BA (2024). It has extensive experience in the area of production and management in the field of livestock, grains, irrigated fruit growing, vegetables, forestry; for over 28 years following work in Brazil and the African Continent. He is currently a consultant and family farmer in an area where he develops, transfers production and management technologies in the agricultural sector.
Eduardo Cézar Saldanha
Agricultural Engineer
Agricultural Engineer, Master in Soil Science (UFRPE) and Doctor in Agronomy (UFRA), currently works as a Senior Agronomist at Rio Tinto Desenvolvimento Minerais, where he holds the position of Agricultural Development Specialist. He actively participates as an instructor in agronomic courses and training programs for field technicians and producers, with emphasis on topics related to crop fertilization, soils and fertigation.

Expertise in classification, packaging, labeling, traceability of fruits and vegetables and registration of chemical and biological products for Crops with Insufficient Phytosanitary Support (CSFI).

Atua em resistência de plantas a nematoides, manejo químico e biológico, taxonomia e diversidade genética de nematoides. Atuou como pesquisadora na área de Proteção de Plantas, especialidade Nematologia, no Instituto de Desenvolvimento Rural do Paraná- EMATER-IAPAR, Londrina, PR, por 12 anos. Atualmente é pesquisadora e responsável técnica na Agronema Análise, Consultoria e Experimentação Nematológicas. É professora da área de Fitopatologia do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agronomia UEL-IDR e é a atual Presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Nematologia.
Danilo Batista Pinho

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros. Iniciou o mestrado em Fitopatologia na Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2008), transferiu-se do nível de mestrado para doutorado (2009), obtendo o título em 2012. Em 2012 foi contemplado com o Prêmio Jovem Micologista - Maria Auxiliadora de Queiroz Cavalcanti e no ano seguinte recebeu o prêmio Carlos Augusto Batista na categoria Micologista recém-doutor. É editor associado do periódico Tropical Plant Pathology na área de Micologia. É professor da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) e coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Fitopatologia, onde desenvolve trabalhos sobre a diagnose e manejo de doenças fúngicas.

The III Brazilian Symposium and I Latin American Pitayas Meeting will take place in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, on the 6th, 7th and 8th of March 2024.
The event will be held at the Associação Empresarial de Criciúma, a modern space prepared to host the event.
